Today I know that I am saved
this knowledge is for sure
for God has changed me from within
through grace He made me pure

today I know that I am free
to live my life so dear
that Satan’s lies cannot touch me
or make me live in fear

today I know I’m protected
by angels sent on high
who guard my life with their power
as they encamp nearby

today I know I have healing
it’s meant for earth below
that God be glorified in me
to all the world I’ll show

today I know that I’m gifted
to serve my God above
by edifying those I touch
with God’s own heart of love
____
today I know where I’m going
to heaven’s gate of fame
there Jesus waits for my presence
together we shall reign

today I know that I am loved
with everlasting care
this helps me go unto tomorrow
with faith in hope and prayer
